DemoKrazy Day was a month-long brand campaign between our client, renowned artist Lemi Ghariokwu, and digital art marketplace, Lewa Market. This collaboration included an online limited-edition print collection sale, social media promotion, and digital events, including an intimate Instagram Live interview and a "Town Hall" X Space (fka twitter).
The goals of the collaboration were multi-pronged, including connecting Lemi with a younger audience who may not be familiar with his legendary work, generating interest and awareness of Lewa Market as an African digital art marketplace, and creating dialogue around democracy and bad governance in Nigeria.
Diasporic Femme Studio curated the limited-edition print collection from Lemi's veritable oeuvre of over 2000 album covers and more works of visual art, and led the execution of the successful campaign, with 40% sale rate, as well as over 500 combined attendees at our digital events. We collaborated with graphic design and digital teams to generate event marketing collateral and coordinate event promotion campaigns, as well as organize and produce the digital events. We also handled all contract negotiations on behalf of our client, Lemi Ghariokwu.
