Side A Podcast wanted to celebrate a successful second season, test out an upcoming product, Creative Kin – a unique conversation and inspiration deck for creatives, and connect with their audience while building community. We decided to host a summer social in a charming local garden in Brooklyn and the event drew over 100 attendees, highlighting the podcast’s growing impact both locally in New York City and globally in cities like Los Angeles, London, and Lagos. We were able to secure a brand sponsorship for the event with WYNK, an alcohol-alternative seltzer including event sponsorship, product delivery, social collaboration, and user-generated content.

Since its debut in fall 2023, Side A has become a vital platform for cultural exchange, bridging the generational gap between Gen Z and Millennials. The podcast fosters a sense of belonging for diasporan Africans, with a particular focus on supporting Queer Africans seeking community.

Side A Social was a lively affair, featuring engaging activities, games, and a curated playlist that kept the energy high throughout the evening. This successful event underscores Side A’s commitment to in-person community-building and their innovative approach to connecting with supporters.
